What Are the Different Types of Car Fluid Leaks
Coolant Leaks
In older cars, coolant leaking was normal. These days, it's not. So if you see a bright green, pink or orange fluid leaking, get it looked at right away.
Oil Leak
Oil is, of course black. So if you see this, you'll want to take a look at the oil gasket as it may be faulty!
Transmission Fluid Leak
If your transmission has issues, you may see a pink or dark red with a puddle. It can range in color. Either way, you'll need the transmission looked at.
Power Steering Wheel Leak
If there's an issue with the power steering wheel, it may mimic transmission fluid on the ground. It will mean that there are problems with the gaskets or joints that's supporting the power steering wheel.
Brake Fluid Leak
If there is something wrong with your brake lines, or it's broken, it will leak out an amber tint that is easily identifiable. You do not want to be driving if you have leaks from the brake lines, as it can be extremely dangerous!
Wiper Fluid Leak
As you know, the windshield wipers use fluid so that it can function properly, and it helps clear your windshield when you need to! But if the tank is faulty, you may see the blue fluid on the ground.
Air Conditioner
When you use the air conditioner on a hot day, sometimes it will let out water. This is normally nothing to be worried about. So, you can breathe a sigh of relief with that!
Gas
If the gas is coming out through your exhaust pipes, you will see the multicolor substance on the ground. You can smell it as well.
