I've been on and off looking for a high quality service facility in Sacramento for my 2000 Ford Expedition just in case my SUV needed a repair. At 192,000 miles, my SUV finally needed some work. It developed an ignition misfiring, a loss of power, and what appeared to be a transmission oil leakage, but the leak was coming from the right side of the engine; that was odd. A friend previously recommended Prestige and they had good Yelp reviews so I gave them a try. Prestige diagnosed the problem as a leaking intake manifold gasket that ruined a coil that, in turn, ruined a spark plug. When they took the manifold off, they saw the manifold was cracked on the inside of one of the passages and so it also needed to be replaced. Oh well! I believe this was something that no one could have diagnosed without actually taking the manifold off. The leak that appeared to be transmission fluid was coolant mixed with oil residue that was on the valve covers. Prestige did a great job of diagnosing and fixing the problem, all in a timely manner. Their parts and labor costs were reasonable given the work performed. (I previously had spark plugs replaced at 100,000 miles and an ignition coil replaced at 122,000 at a Ford dealership and their parts and labor costs were much higher.) I also appreciate Prestige only informing me of pending issues that are important for the safe operation of my SUV, not a running list of everything that needs to be replaced or repaired just because an industry service manual says its time for the owner to spend some more money. I highly recommend Prestige as a facility to service your vehicle. They are competent, informative, and timely, with services at a reasonable cost.
