I have a 2007 toyota matrix with about 65,000 miles on it. My check engine light had been coming on, and off for about 3 months. I took my vehicle to 3 different places including the dealer who was Elk Grove Toyota or Toyota of Elk Grove, who quoted me $4,000.00 and recommend I get either a new transmission, or a new engine.
